A Sydney Household House Impressed By Wes Anderson, Artwork Deco + English Nation Gardens
In 2021, Chloe Brookman, founding father of homewares, attire and kids’s merchandise label Olli Ella, and her husband Charlie Wheeler purchased a 1910 house in South Coogee, and launched into a serious transformation challenge.
Working with architect Sofia Husni to renovate and lengthen the Sydney property, the couple have created a house that feels traditional, but solely distinctive!
The result’s a complicated and impressed house for Chloe, Charlie and their 5 youngsters Tennyson (13), Arlo (10), Nell (6), August (3), and Quentin (1), combining various influences – from Wes Anderson movie units, to artwork deco color palettes, Mediterranean patterns, and English nation gardens!
