My title is Megan, and I stay in Kentish City, North London, England. Once we moved into our home, our backyard was a complete shambles—crumbly brick partitions, damaged trellises, and rotted decking. We now have somewhat oasis with a mix of formal planting and shiny colours.
Although often grown for its colourful foliage, coral bells (Heuchera hybrids, Zones 5–9) has clouds of small flowers that may be fairly beautiful as effectively.
It’s exhausting to beat an ideal dahlia (Dahlia hybrid, Zones 8–11 or as a young bulb) with its layer upon layer of excellent white petals unfolding. Dahlias are equally stunning within the backyard or in a vase indoors.
The darkish container makes these stunning white lobelias (Lobelia erinus, Zones 10–11 or as an annual) appear even brighter.
The backyard is house not simply to stunning flowers—these foxes benefit from the area as effectively! I hope they do their half to maintain hungry rabbits and different pests away.
Cranesbill, or hardy geranium (Geranium hybrid, Zones 5–9) is an excellent perennial. It’s straightforward to take care of and has clouds of lovely blue flowers.
This beautiful array of tulips is blended with heuchera and primroses (Primula hybrid, Zones 3–8).
