Billy Maynard Architects has been introduced the winner of a design competitors for a brand new battle memorial in Sydney devoted to honouring the service and sacrifice of current veterans.

The memorial will probably be situated throughout the Area, a big parkland that holds historic significance as the positioning of Sydney’s first Anzac Day service in 1916. Different members within the competitors included Breakspear Architects, Kaunitz Yeung Structure, Different Architects, Retallack Thompson and Trias.

Architect Billy Maynard stated the memorial was envisioned as a spot for collective and particular person therapeutic. “It fosters remembrance and reflection via simplicity of kind mixed with finely resolved and caringly crafted element,” stated Maynard.
