Gable Home, designed by Studio Doherty & People Architects, redefines household dwelling by daring but harmonious design. A zinc-clad extension by People Architects introduces up to date distinction, with a glazed bridge linking the heritage Queen Anne Federation house to the brand new wing. The reconfigured interiors embrace openness and pure mild, with a salvaged brick function wall grounding the house in historical past. Timber-lined ceilings add heat, whereas pale blue quartzite and a putting pink pantry energize the kitchen. Playful but refined, the house’s layered materials palette—stone, Murano glass, and classic accents—creates a wealthy, expressive inside that blends heritage appeal with fashionable sophistication.
