Situated on the coast of the Valparaíso Area of Chile, the Elizabeth Home, named after its proprietor, displays the readability, simplicity, and honesty with which the architects approached the mission. The situation was most essential, chosen to offer a refuge from the winds of the “Punta de Gallo” cliff, and to guard the encircling vegetation of weeds, thorns and docks.
The home relies on a grid of 11-square-foot pillars, supporting the modulating beams that embrace the home and result in a terrace. The view turns into an exterior expression of the home. The inside partitions are fabricated from white painted pine, a wooden that’s indigenous to the realm and which was additionally used for the construction. The home’s exterior was handled with graphite grey primers that guarantee low upkeep over time and that strengthen the type of the container.
