Oak Cottage is a personal backyard within the Central Victorian Highlands city of Macedon, an hours drive north of Melbourne. The purpose with this backyard was to border the unique 1900’s weatherboard facade with an period applicable naturalistic cottage type backyard. The backyard wanted to be sympathetic to each its bush surrounds, and the present 100 yr outdated English oak.
