Graduate architect and designer Shelby Lenehan and plumber Heath Turner have spent three years renovating their Nineteen Fifties residence in Geelong, Victoria.
The couple moved into the post-war weatherboard in 2021, when it featured a colorless 2000s kitchen renovation and mouldy partitions, that overshadowed the house’s unique artwork deco particulars.
However room by room, Shelby and Heath have introduced the character and soul of this home again to life, with timeless timbers, luxurious stone surfaces, and heat golden hues — all achieved on a surprisingly modest finances!
