With classes spanning the interiors and exteriors of residential, industrial and public work, the submissions are judged by a panel of acclaimed trade specialists who assess the design intent, diploma of mastery and total affect of color within the constructed tasks, in addition to unbuilt, student-designed ideas.
Dulux Color Specialist Davina Harper says the awards are a chance for design professionals in Australia and New Zealand to be recognised for his or her creativity and experience.
“The diploma to which architects and designers are utilising the transformative impact of color will increase annually and these awards spotlight their understanding of color as an integral design aspect,” Davina says. “Dulux welcomes entries from a breadth of genres, regardless of the size or scope of work.”
Every main class winner will obtain AUD $1,000 in prize cash, with college students eligible to win AUD $500. New Zealand entrants can even win the New Zealand Grand Prix title and NZD $5,000.
The shortlist of finalists can be launched to the general public on-line in April 2022, with the award winners scheduled to be introduced in June.
