A “joyful” home has taken out the highest prize on the Australian Institute of Architects’ Darling Downs/West Moreton Regional Structure Awards.
Bunya Home by Sparks Architects was described by the jury as “an ideal mix of consolation, practicality and sustainability”.
“The eye to element, refined simplicity, and thoroughly framed views mark this dwelling for well-deserved design recognition,” the jury stated. “It’s clear that the house delights its house owners and delivers a joyful dwelling expertise.”
The Darling Downs/West Moreton Regional Structure Awards is the primary of the Queensland Regional Structure Awards to be introduced. 4 different initiatives additionally obtained regional commendations, all of which can progress to the Queensland Structure Awards, to be introduced on 22 June.
