The Rockhampton Museum of Artwork has been named Central Queensland’s constructing of the 12 months in the 2023 Australian Institute of Architects’ Central Queensland Regional Structure Awards.
Designed by Conrad Gargett, Clare Design (lead design architects) and Brian Hooper Architect, the gallery is a brand new dwelling for some of the important regional collections of recent Australian artwork. It was awarded the J W Wilson Award for Constructing of the 12 months, in addition to a regional commendation for Public Structure.
